There are almost no caches between Vista West High School and Taft anymore and it was kind of turning into a chore. So the streak is finished at 72 consecutive days in a row of at least finding one cache. It was fun and it was good for my numbers, but now it is over.… Continue

I almost quit Geocaching today.

RMJD #2: Asian Experience, On Lock Down, and Taft Light Pole Multi Cache. All muggled by some means or another.

I am setting up our new website.

There is nothing better than having a cold one, watching the Super Bowl, procrastinating real work, and working on the new KCC website.

"Online logs like "TNLNSL," "TFTC," and even "DPM" do little more than simply record that you were there and managed to find your way back home to your computer. There's so much more that your online log has to offer." DPM = Do Please Moveontoano...

That was a great link Jack. I think we can all agree TFTC logs are about the worst as a cache owner. I want to know more about your experience. So at Geocacher University, they encourage you to use the 4 T's in writing a cache log. Trip, Traps, Tr...

Actually, it looks like most of the caches are to the east in the hills by Ocotillo and Salton City. Definitely a lot of caches out that way. That would be a good place to have a motorcycle or a 4WD.

Me thinks that those of which we voice our complaints seldom if ever pass into this realm. But if one or two of them might stumble or lurch into this site perhaps they might be persuaded to check out this link: http://geocacher-u.com/content/view...

Thanks for the recognition Hedge, its been a long time coming. As you can tell, it is not a numbers game for me, I just enjoy the sport. It took me years just to get my first to find. Many of the caches my wife and I have found are truly memorable...

This one's a construction, but you get the idea: "We found this one after some pretty heavy duty bushwhacking. To make it easier for the next finder, we chopped out all vegetation 30 feet around the cache. We felled two large trees that might be ...

Some of the facepalm logs reflect greed: ".....Took the travel bug and will move it west this weekend. Left 6 cents." "I stopped on my way home from work, so I didn't have anything to leave. Took the blue "Merlin Magician". Next time I gone in t...

Yeah a cut and paste log is about worthless. You might as well just go all the way and defecate in the container while you are at it. On cache runs I will cut and paste, but that is my daily synopsis at the bottom of my specific comment for each c...

Just a gratz out to DualWings as he gets #200 at GC1VF4R - Camp Hamilton Fighting Hole! A hard fought find (maybe not gratifying, but congratulations-worthy). Truly a 4-star, and proving it could be done. Keep up the good caching DW!
